A leading distributor of lead crystal glass needed to create a new Company on Infor System 21.
For financial reasons this had to be completed in 4 weeks and within a very tight budget; recognising the urgency and specialist skills required Crystal and Glass Distributors Ltd commissioned IMS to take up this challenge.First, the new accounts structure was agreed and implemented. All of the financial and distributions modules were created from scratch and their set up reviewed with and agreed by senior management. New functionality was explained and system users shown how to use it. Assistance was given to create static data and where possible this was transferred electronically. Defined bespoke software was transferred to the new Company.
Prior to opening, the stock balances and costs were uplifted and the locations copied across. First-level support was given during ‘go live’ and then remotely afterwards. The Australian management deemed the project a complete success and now have a vastly better view of System 21.
IMS are now working with senior management to ensure that all available functionality is used and that the system is fully optimised to manage the business.
