IMS were asked by a global steel producer to create a system for tracking export orders, producing export invoices and all associated despatch documentation. The client had already looked at ‘off-the-shelf’ packages and had decided they were unsuitable.
IMS assessed the Company’s needs, designed the system, gained approval and then implemented it in stages.
The first stage was to create the export documentation and links to system invoices. The second phase was to create the export documentation and obtain approval from the appropriate authorities. Finally export invoices were produced that were acceptable to HMRC and the customers Import Agents.
