Walker Love were considering a review of their accounting software with a view to migrating to a more ‘modern’, functional and user friendly platform. Changes within their organisation and the need to provide greater efficiencies meant a change was needed and they booked a one day visit by IMS to consider their options, a day which entirely changed their views on their System21.

A day with Simon Sherwood Managing Director of IMS has shown new ways that they can get the best out of their existing system, which is a leads to a considerable saving as they no longer need to source an alternative and no doubt costly option.

“I found this an extremely valuable day. What is clear is that JBA System21 is fit for our purpose.”

Charles Mitchell Finance Manager Walker Love

Walker Love were most excited about the greater understanding they gained of the Sytem21 libraries and the linkable fields they received. Charles believes that their greater understanding spells the end for antiquated reporting tools like IQ objects and the built in reporting options they currently use as well as opening up endless reporting possibilities going forward.

During the day it was identified that there were a number of efficiencies to be gained from free options such as PC Uplift software. Walker Love manually processed hundreds of journals each year, and manually loaded all budgets. and Options for time savings were identified throughout the review and problems that had been considered minor irritations were also reviewed and simple yet effective solutions were implemented. and a PDF printer for the more efficient processing of statements and invoices was identified as a time and cost saving option.
