Integrated Management Solutions (IMS) is pleased to announce the acquisition of JPSys a Technology Services company providing design, installation and configuration services and delivering problem solving and trouble shooting in areas such as active directories, data libraries,  hardware upgrades, security audits, disaster recovery services and VPN and network optimisation.

The acquisition increases the pool of skills available to IMS clients providing expertise gained from the past 20 year of hands on experience in IT helping businesses to manage progress and deliver end results around known applications.

“The acquisition is a strategic part of the planned expansion of IMS to enable us to continue to effectively support clients as they increasingly move away from pure iSeries System 21 solutions and work with a combination of  legacy IBM and IP integrated networks,” commented Simon Sherwood Managing Director of IMS. “iSeries services continue to be the core of our business, but we also recognise that the world is changing and our clients need us to have an in-depth understanding of their entire estate in order to be able to effectively provide advice and services.”

Being part of a larger company with more resources and a greater skills pool to draw from will be beneficial to JPSys current clients and it will broaden the range of services available to them. James Prince has been appointed to head the new Technical Services division being created within IMS.
